A very rare antique kitchen hanging box. It made of brass. This type of box was very famouse in Dutch homes in the 18 and 19 century. The top of the lid is decorated with a repousse design showing a floral, box has a floral and geometric design. The edge of the top as well as that for the hinged lid are rolled. The piece is very well constructed. Would be a functional piece for entrance for small stuff, kitchen for kicthenware that adds a beautiful element from Holland.
